The racer's age as of 12/31 determines which age group they belong in for a given ski season.

 

        Age Classes (by December 31, 2015)

U10:    Ages 8 & 9               (born in 2006, 2007)

U12:     Ages 10 & 11             (born in 2004, 2005)

U14:    Ages 12 & 13            (born in 2002, 2003)

U16:    Ages 14 & 15            (born in 2000, 2001)

U18:     Ages 16 &17             (born in 1998, 1999)
